Ex-College Professor, Dr. Jonathan Crane has always been obsessed with fear. Embittered at being derided for his theories and fired from his job, Crane uses fear- inducing chemicals to force innocent people to bow to his will. The Scarecrow has a new, horrifying look, to complement an increased arsenal of chemical weapons. His control over human fear has increased,not only giving him power to induce it, but also to take it away.
